I’m so excited to be doing December Daily again this year documenting our month of December. It’s such a fun, magical time. Today I’m sharing days one and two. It was very gloomy here yesterday and the day before that it was hard to get good photos, so I decided to just wait and post both pages today.
Opening Page
I’m using a Simple Stories 6×8 red album again this year. I’ve loved using the size the past two years. This year I also ordered Ali Edwards main kit. I really liked a lot of products included in the kit this year as opposed to past years. So far I have the “the most wonderful time of the year” transparency in front of the black and white tree paper. It seems a bit boring so I may be adding more later on.
Day One
The story for today was simple. We started our Advent calendar and the tradition of unwrapping Christmas books as well as adding Santa countdown calendars to the kid’s bedroom doors. But the day was also very routine with homeschooling and lots of play time. The kids ended up building pillow forts in front of the tv in the afternoon and they looked so cute sitting there together with their drinks that I knew that would be my photo to document today. That and a photo of the wrapped books.
Day Two
For day two I wanted to document decorating our tree. We did this before Thanksgiving, but I always add it to my album because it’s still part of our December story. It never bothers me that it didn’t actually take place on whatever day I end up adding it to my album.
If you have any questions about products I used please feel free to ask in the comments. I’ll be back tomorrow with day three.
